Treblig,

Just because I don't have it listed in my profile doesn't mean that I haven't built or owned a Cobra. I bought a kit from Shell Valley back in 2003. I've also been a member of Club Cobra since 2001, and with over 4000 posts, you can about bet that I understand the "growing pains" of building a Cobra.

Anytime you put a car together from the frame up, you will run into problems. I'm helping a buddy with a frame-up resto of a '65 Nova SS. I'm trying to get him to understand that even when you use the same factory parts, sometimes it doesn't go together like lego blocks.

Things happen, everyone knows that.

I own my own business, selling drivetrain parts. When you start working for yourself, you see things in a little different light. I'm not saying that anyone is exempt of questioning in this case, but I think it was unprofessional how it was handled on a public forum, and I think most of the talking should have been from the owner of the car.
