Got up at 6am yesterday morning, windmachines a roaring (means very cold outside for those in Rio Linda)and decided to go for a ride. My youngest daughter and I rode to Trona (very much armpit place). Knocked 400miles off with out a wimper, even did 15miles on dirt road. Mini Van could make it but not a Murcielago- if you know what I mean.
I fought
oil temp most of the time. Had to put a piece of cardboard in and that help it never saw 70 all day and half day it bairly regestered. All winter I have been running a black sweetshirt and it would always warm up- not yesterday. Cruised most of the day at 80+mph with a couple of 110mph spurts. The 40 gal tank is great-never stopped for gas.
Bottom line: Kirkham and Bill Sario (me-the builder) know how to make a fun great car.
