Jay Leno was at the SAAC convention in 1986 (as I recall) in Dearborn, MI with his replica. The car was built out in Wisc. (again, as I recall) in the early-mid 80's to essentially original spec. At the convention, he was just "one of the guys..." doing burn outs and shooting bottle rockets at Chevy's on the road next to the convention hotel. ...and then the police came.
