John, I'm running the Southern Automotive stroker you refer to. You might want to consider Unique over in Gadsden and their delux pallet package. I've put 30,000 spirited miles on my car in this area and have enjoyed every one. Unique holds a homecoming event every year and draws quite a few cars from around the southeast. Bill will deliver the engine and transmission to Unique and your Pallet car will arrive with everything mounted. Don Wilmott down in Decatur builds the transmissions for Southern. Great guy and really knows his stuff. Lots of legacy in this town. Might as well stay in the family!
