It's been cold too long.
And did I tell you about the dark short northern days this time of year? Course northern summer has extra long days. But for now, I'm trapped in my cabin.
A few years ago, I worked on a project in Modesto during the summer and it was downright strange to see the sun nearly straight over head and down by 9 PM in the middle of the summer.
And then, when I do go out, my wife bought me a lanyard to hang her car key around my neck. Just humiliating.
It reminds me of the string my mother threaded through my coat sleeves that kept me from losing my mittens when I was a kid. Yeh, she dressed me funny, too.
