The lifts there looks good. Yes, would make it easy to work on the car.

Prior to placing the lift in here, I used a neighbours garage who has a pit.

I thought about a pit. It would be as easy as cutting the concrete and digging a pit. Concrete brickwork would be easy to install.

My neighbours pit is very old and it is formed with old hardwood timber and steel bracing - all looks re cycled timber.
