I would guess that it is harder to jam the 'guidance system' of a 16 inch shell than that of a missile. Still, how accurate are you going to be if your gun director gets taken out? And, Gee Whiz (
), how are you going to shoot down inbound missiles without compootahz? Gonna pull that Gatling gun out on it's horse drawn gun carriage and fire away? Or are you going to use a trusty .50cal mount to take out an inbound 3 square feet small moving at 4000mph?
