I think the problem area may be trying to install an aluminum body on a CSX4000 frame that was made for a fiberglass body. Although the main frame rails and suspension brackets may be the same, the smaller tubular frame supporting the body is different, and I think the fiberglass body 4000's have an extra tube in the door seal/jam area that the original 3000 cars, and the aluminum 4000 cars don;t have.
