I´m not a real fan of electric pumps - they tend to fail at the worst of times.

I treated my org. Carter X- Pump to a rebuild kit many years back - still working great.

I also like the mecanicals, because the higher the rpm the more volume they deliver.

Any good mecanical Fuel pump should be supply the necesary volume - unless you are all out drag racing.

With Webers a pressure regulator should be considered a must.
