At one time ..they WERE the heads to get, well at least the ones I could afford. Now with an influx of much better aftermarket heads, they're value is mainly to restorers. The amount of money needed to make them comparable to some of the new heads would be equal or close the cost of the newer heads. Date code will play heavily in the value...and that should be a prominent part of any adverstising. While many CJ owners might like a spare pair, they are most valuable to someone with a car that the date code is appropriate for. As the years pass and age/wear take their toll on more parts, they become more prized.
The suggestion to put it on specific forums is a good one. There are a few CJ specific forums that would be a great place to start. Keep in mind, that because you have said they are redone( very few aren't), you might have some requests for pics...maybe with the valves out on a cylinder as well as the underside for an indication of how much they've been cut. Because the market is dependent on WHO is looking at any given time, the value is hard to pin down. You could look at some of those same sites and get a feel for what is being asked and that should get you a rough figure...again if you should find the guy that has the right production date and needs some heads...you should come out fine, they are always desirable.
