Well there are two cable release levers on the left side of the driver's seat. The front one is the driver's door latch and the second one (to the rear) does nothing now that I have tested it, as when it is levered the cable/latch in the trunk does not move. My trunk lid does not latch. So it bears further investigation when the garage warms up. Thanks.
