I was there that night and got some pictures. Here is a shot of the guests:
Mr. Shelby signing my die-cast BJ SGT. When I was there I told him that Barrett Jackson had accepted our consignment for the auction of one of my 2 BJ Shelbys (get it?) with full proceeds to CSCF. He didn't really say much then as I was walking away he said "Really?"
I had gone up after the thing was almost over and talked to him again to say "Yes, really". He really did cheer up. As I was shaking his hand, Mrs. Bondurant asked me if I would take a picture of Carroll and her.
She promptly ran away and said to Carroll "Stay here", and me too, and returned with Bob and asked me to take another:
After I took it and showed them the shot in the viewfinder, Carroll said "be sure to Photoshop Bondurant out of the picture and send me a copy". I haven't done it yet but will
