They would buy up all the foreclosed houses, failing small businesses, start their own businesses, work 18 hours a day, PAY THEIR TAXES, and yank America back onto the tracks leading to prosperity! I was thunderstruck. I remember the scene from Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" where the Asian family moves in, opens a store, etc. etc., much to the outrage of their urban neighbors.......
In any case, I thought that was a fascinating proposal. Made, no doubt, rhetorically, but surely right on the button, re varying work-habits.
