It's an issue of whether a SBF pattern will bolt directly to the Mod engine. A guy is installing a Mod motor in an early 'stang and was interested in what trannies would bolt to it that were stock, it was suggested to him that he could bolt any SBF bellhousing pattern up to it. He's doing it for someone else and is trying to avoid adapters if possible, I already told him about adapters for the manual as well as a C4.
