It is a pain to title a new Cobra replica in NC. You will need to:
  • Track down the right folks from the DMV (most people at the DMV have no idea how to handle this)
  • Get the specific forms for titling your car from the DMV (most of the forms used are unique to custom vehicles; and some were not easily accessible via the web or in DMV offices)
  • Get your car inspected (there are a few officers who are responsible for this)
  • Secure a bond for a few years (if you don't have an MSO for your engine and transmission)
