....that the people are waking up to what's happening to them (and to what they've done to themselves)....

I beg to differ----they're too foo keen STUPID to "wake up" to ANYTHING! I wouldn't trust 85% of the population under 50 to take something (unimportant) to the Post Orifice for me! Gad!

If they had the capacity to "wake up", it means that they had some capacity to weigh the prospects of their election-booth choices. Sorry------time to replay "Idiocracy" (my favorite movie de le moment).
