Reminds me of a simple vehicle invention that would have great military use.

Basically it's just a giant hoop, about 500 feet in diameter, in which a standard vehicle drives inside the rim, like a built-in highway. The thing is, you could run over just about anything with it and it would just ride smoothly over the top. Cross-country over fences, small buildings in a single bound, gullies, highline wires, trains, you name it. It would be hard to shoot down. Mostly hole.

I imagine, like the 1932 Helicron, it would need a push to get started. I'm thinking a large "T" stick with a least two guys.

Actually, I was about 10 when I first thought this up.
