I did mine as per the instructions on this website, was a little scary making the first cut but all worked out in the end.
I did not fit the reverse lock out part but would do so in the future as when trying to shift quickly you find yourself going a little slower than you could due to fear of finding reverse.
I actualy have my selector out at the moment getting the reverse lockout working.
