Angry Tip of the iceberg..........(rant #1 for 3/3/09)

....if the Democrats and this Administration get everything they want, it'll make FDR's legacy look like peanuts (good image, in light of recent peanut news, eh?). I honestly think that the operational structure and power of the federal government will rival Stalin's Russia in effect (but not intent and modus operandi). Fear, co-opted choices, tax-induced poverty, lack of privacy, etc.

Make 'em dumb, fearful and poor. Keep 'em under your thumb. Money is freedom, so the rest follows obviously......'Tis positively Machiavellian!

If you can get a generation or so thusly subjugated, you have them forever----especially when they are deprived of any sense of history----i.e. what it was like before the Great Change.....

In any case, "for every action, there is an equal (I hope) and opposite reaction". As Jefferson said (paraphrased) "A little revolution now and then is a good thing...". Don't know what you guys are hearing, but there are ominous and unmistakable rumblings out there...."Tea Parties"...h-m-m-m-m. It's gonna cost $12.00 EXTRA to fill yer gas-tank under the Moronic Midget in Taxachusetts...

Tax revolt time. Cutting off the fodder for the Great Spending Machine on the Potomac may be the only shot we've got. That is, before the ACORN acolytes* show up on our lawn.

Some sci-fi movie said it best: "...that was before they started coming out of the cities..."

Gawdalmighty------wish I was born in 1880!!!!

*whatever the name for the proposed Little Red Guard, Ton-ton Macoute "youth corps" will be called....

Carrion ('s'what we'll all be eating, soon)
