I have not tried one yet, but as of 2010, at my home track, any one of three approved devices will be required....Right now on race day we probably average 75 cars and probably less than 20 wear a Hans, I wear a "dollar collar"....

I've spoken with a few guys and some love them and some hate them, the ones that hate them say is reduces your side to side movement/vision too much and they can't get used to that....

No doubt it is the safest thing out there right now....
