Not true. Under the laws of the US at the time of his birth, if a child was born abroad, and one parent was a U.S. citizen, Obama’s mother would have had to have lived ten years in the U.S., five of which were after she reached the age of 14. At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother was only 18, and therefore did not meet the requirements under the law to give her son U.S. Citizenship. All of this being further moot by the fact that she automatically lost her citizenship (surrendering his as well as her minor child) when she married the Indonesian, Barry Soetoro. Even Obama's school enrollment shows he was an "Indonesian citizen" of Muslim faith:
