They were the mut's nut's when they were in business and they pretty much still are in my opinion. A well built Contemporary is a potential match for anything else out there (apart from a Kirkham, of course ).

A friend of mine has just bought one in the UK with and aluminiunm Shelby 427 in it with Webers. It needs tidying up, but it's a great car nontheless.
It has aluminium lower rear control arms. I've never seen these before, does anyone know anything about them? Were they a factory option?
The licence plate number is "COB 427", but that doesn't come with the car unfortunately. If you didn't already know, licence plate numbers can be bought independantly from the car in the UK, subject to some rules.
This plate is likely to be worth around $20-30k on its own.

Take a look at justcobras.com, you're probably looking at lower control arms from them.
