My rear calipers are Series II XKE Girlings - will your setup work? My old arrangement had the lever assembly mounted to the side of the fiiberglass tunnel, which actuated a cable that had the sheath anchored to the passenger side E brake caliper lever, and the core cable anchored to the driver side E brake caliper lever. Pulling the handle together squeezed the two together (at least in theory, it actually didn't work very well at all) applying the E brake. How does this compensator mechanism work? I appreciate the offer to assist. Thanks.
