How about a laptop with a 12v charger or low cost 110v
inverter? Most laptops have built-in DVD ...and plug a low cost
tuner card into it for broadcast TV.
Something like this can also double as an economical large screen
GPS. Great for campers and boats (if weather-proof isn't a main criteria).
