Default L76 & E38 Tacho issue

Just a quick message regarding the tacho issue. I discovered the E38 ECU requires a load on the tacho output before it will output any signal, damn clever these puters(no load sensed no output). I found this out after trying to scope the signal to see what magnitude the signal was in order to amplify it to drive my Classic instruments tacho. All I saw with the bitscope(very handy toy) was noise at first I thought I had an Ac signal of about 200mv peak to peak, but figured that can't be right seeing as the tune was set for a crank pulse output. The fix was a 680 ohm resistor from the 12v input to the signal terminal.
Maybe this will get someone in or out of trouble.

Lionel.
