Ron,

I too had State Farm when I had my Superformance a nd the fact of the matter is these replic'a just cost more to fix regardless of new parts or not.
My car was hit in a Safeway parking lot and the damage should not have
cost more that $2500 to fix. THese cars are not engineered to fix like a
regular car and there are no crash manuals that repair shops can go to
and get repair costs. My bill wound up costing State Farm $28k and then thay had to go fight Allstate ( the reponsible party) to get the money back
since I refused to work with Allstate. I think they are just getting it that
these cars just cost more and are just passing it through to the insured.
You own a Kirkham just be happy you can get insurance at all.......
