Default Thanks to everyone!!

Thanks to all for your replies!

Clois???? posting at 5:51 a.m. on a Saturday?? Man, you are serious about this!!!

Seriously, thanks to everyone for the great info. I now have everything gathered up for my FE except for buying the Edel RPM heads and choosing a cam. I've decided to use a D4TE block (extra webbing in mains) bored to stock 428 4.13 (sonic tested out excellent), Scat 4.25 crank, Probe I-beam 6.7 rods and Probe forged slugs. Full MSD ign, Edel RPM intake, Holley carb, Edel alum water pump, Comp Cam roller rockers, Canton oil pan, etc, etc......all on ebay!!

Cam: I'm old school, leaning towards a solid flat tappet. Probably Comp Cams, and adding the nitriding treatment. I realize with the stroker that I won't turn the high RPM's the solid is capable of, I'll probably chip the MSD for 6,200 or 6,400, I just like the sound of solids. Any suggestions on grind? I'm leaning towards a 112 LSA, .580-.590 lift, and too much duration!! Gotta have the lumpy idle.

thanks guys!!
