I have been leaving messages and talking with staff of my Reps and about any office I thought would do some good. I have sent over 20 tea bags as mentioned by Joe G . I have never been in a March for anything in my life but have become active now with calls and letters etc.. My days as a mushroom are over and I am mad as hell. Join me in anything you believe in but make your voice heard.

Until now, I have not been a political animal. I watched but can't say I watched closely. George W got me started. I enjoyed his toughness about terrorists in the face of democrat ridicule. But at the same time his spending was insane. At least I thought so at the time, This rookie in all things makes GWB look like Scrooge. And Obama's total disregard for our Constitution while he lies and mouths his 'respect' for it cannot be allowed.
And the conduct [or lack of it] of our media is both shameful and DANGEROUS.
I have and do write my Congresspeople and make no excuses for the behavior of the lot of them.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson was right [first time for everything] when he thought the cameras and mikes were all off. Speaking about Obama, the right Rev. Jackson said, "I'd like to cut his nuts off!"
