Sorry reposting - not sure what happened on the last one.
You are a generous man, but I fabricated one over the weekend. And yes, it was for the master. I am re-routing the lines over the footbox on Tuesday and have already wrapped the line in heat resistant foam as well. I will bolt on the heat shield as soon as I move the line. I am also going to wrap the master cylinder with the same wrap that people use on the headers to keep the metal unit cool. Hopefully - that should solve the problem.
I want to be ready for Byron by May 9th. I had the car tuned last fall and picked up substantial power. I like the street tire idea. It has always seemed to me that slicks don't make sense. If your at a stop light race and can't get traction, you can't got home at get slicks and come back. It has to work on the street.
