Well see there, you are misinformed, your taxes went up under Reagan, it was the highest tax increase in our nation's history, and the wealthy had their taxes lowered, you need to read about the Reagan legacy project, they have been feeding misinformation to anyone that will bite off on it, and they are gearing up for the same thing with Bush.
look at when we had stability in our economy, it lasted 50 years and it fallowed the great depression and it was regulation and the right tax structure that allowed it to happen. and ever since the tax rate for the wealthiest Americans was lowered, not the working class we don't get the breaks until now! it's that in-balance of revenue to expenses that has caused us to run deficit spending, and it was perfected by Reagan, he even found that when he lowered the taxes on the rich that there was no longer enough to run the country so they decided that deficit spending was a good thing.
Let's just tax the bastards that have profited the most not the people on the bottom.
