It's funny I had joked about this to David Kirkham in another thread recently.
One item on the "agenda" with Obama's meeting in Mexico is the assault weapons ban lapse.
Of course the legal flow of weapons our government pours out to all these third world dumps couldn't possibly be where they get M-16s from.
US citizens can't buy full autos unless they're pre-'86 manufacture. I don't doubt most of the weapons these drug lords have were originally sold (or given) to the Mexican government by the US government.
I fear we're witnessing the groundwork of another Cambodia like regiem being laid out right here. Liberty in the US may very well die by the hands of our own children.
