I also wondered about my order as I heard nothing for so long (4 weeks) but since I live in Alaska I am quite used to things taking forever to arrive. It did show up the following week though very well boxed up.
I was surprised that there were no instructions included with the parts but I already had an assembly manual that covered the work involved to cut the holes for the lights so it was no problem for me. I hope they usually include the one page instructions with the nose though for others.
FFR often gets behind with orders as they don't have a lot of everything sitting on the shelf and that causes some bad feelings since we are all so used to instant gratification nowadays.
I also hate to have to wait for something to arrive when I have decided to buy it.
My nose has a small damaged area where the mold didn't get properly sprayed with mold release so I have about 12 square inches to clean up and fair. That may be the problem with the mold you were told about. It doesn't take much to ruin a mold.
I am real pleased with mine and plan to hook up the headlights to a spare battery for additional shop lights
Hang tight, it will arrive..... eventually
