Yeah, I used a calculator I found online and for a 295/60 15" tire, using the 0.68 gearing in the T-5 OD and the 3.7 differential gearing, I get 2050 RPM at 70 MPH. That's exactly the range I was hoping for!

I did manage to talk to the previous owner (2nd back) and he suggested that perhaps there is a 6 cyl/8 cyl switch on the back of the tach that is set on 6 cyl. The guages are entry level VDO's, so.......we'll see, I am about 5 days from being able to take possession.

He also verified that the rear gear ratio is 3.70.
