I see nothing wrong with trying to increase mileage. I had a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix for years. The car had over 150k miles and ran good. It AVERAGED almost 22 mpg driving both city and highway. It had a 350 hp 400cid. weighed almost 4500 lbs., and the car was relatively loaded.

You want to stop buying gas from nations that support terrorism? Guess how we are going to accomplish that...and it isn't just popping a whole lot more holes in the ground.
