Unhappy Brake problem

What is the best way to troubleshoot an air leak? After bleeding each line, the pedal still goes to the floor without much resistance. It seemed like I got all the bubbles out of the bleeders. I blocked off the outlet ports of the master cylinder with plugs and I can't push the pedal down so the master is good. I bent and flared all the lines myself so I'm sure it's my handywork that's causing the problem. I don't see any leaking fluid or bubbles at the connection points. Is there a methodical way of working backwards from the master cylinder to check for problems? Thanks...

Mike
