This is a common issue.
My Holley Blue pump also died this past weekend while the car was warming up. Lucky me !! Just ordered the Holley HP-125. Never liked the Blue one, it was too loud without the engine running. I will rebuild the blue and keep it as a spare for a rainy day. Soon I'll need another trunk for all the spares.
