I just tested the brown wire and it your hot lead. Your Hazard switch should connect it to both your right and left turn signal lamps. You need to use a switch which isolates both sides, because if you connect them together your turnsignals will all come on together, even when you activate them with the turn signal switch. You could also do what I was planning on doing until I discovered the switch which has the circuits separated, which is isolating the circuits for the right and left signals using diodes, which only allow current to flow in one direction.
