Talking Backup Lights???

Tom,

Cobras don't have backup lights, and a neutral safety switch would be a pain in the butt, as you'd always have to shift to neutral to restart the car.

I'd opt for a clutch switch if you're concerned about accidentally hitting the starter in gear.

I think you're right about the reverse switch, but on my Tremec I seem to remember the other switch was closed in 1'st and open in all other gears, or something similar. I think it was used to tell the EEC-IV gear position for some reason.
