First, thanks Jamo, as you might figure, I was rather irritated at Kelly.
There is a contract that states the amount. However, there is a attached sheet they point to that says they can change whatever they want ( basic legalese ).
When I pressed for an answer, they claim the client believed the compensation was too high. I do not believe them.

I have contracted a number of times and this is new to me.
I am dealing with it. Detroit will have about 25% to 30% unemployment by the end of the year. The state has unemployment benifits set at 79 weeks and are asking for an extention to 104 weeks. The market looks poor at best, so being employed is one up.
I'll have to deal with it. You would think that a new contract would be in order. "They have the attitiude."
I do want to say that you all have made this shock more bearable. Humor is by far the best way to handle this.
