Default Roller Lifter Question
Does anyone know how much lifter "lift" a stock Ford roller lifter will tolerate before it starts to lift the dogbone? This would be in a mid 60's retrofit block.
I have a 1967 "Mexico" block with a retrofit Compcam with .365" lifter "lift" and there is a strange tapping noise. Could it be the dogbones being lifted up and down by the spider?
Any experiece here?
