If the cam is a retrofit roller, you would need almost .600" of valve lift. If it's a non-retrofit cam, it will happen a lot sooner.

But, even if it does lift the dog bones a little, that's not a big issue. You might hear the noise, but I kinda doubt it.

If you have dog bones, you MUST use a spider to keep them in place.
