We don't have the population of down there, but our last four Sheriffs have been very gun oriented and anyone that doesn't have a record and can pass the test can get a CCP here. I would check the latest figures before making this statement.
more ccw permits issued in Kern county than the rest of the state combined,always votes conservative, a good place to live. Shasta County has a very high percentage of permit holders.
