So the House has passed this bill.
Within the space of a few months Congress has passed
TARP, what was that 700 plus pages, UNREAD!
STIMULUS, 900 plus pages, UNREAD!
Now this by the House, 1200 pages, UNREAD, with a 300 page addenDUMB yesterday, also UNREAD!
Every last one of them should be canned, R or D. Committing to untold TRILLIONS of dollars without even reading and knowing every word in the bills.
TARP was supposed to be to buy up bad mortgages so the banks would not go under holding bad paper. Instead it was use to buy BANKS and nationalize [SOCIALIZE] them.
STIMULUS was supposed to keep unemployment WAY below 10% Its past there and going up.
If this latest passes the Senate, HOW screwed up will it be in ONLY a few months.
In the old days, screwed up Government programs weren't so obvious for years. Now the ink isn't dry on the unread bill before its prostituted into something it was never supposed to be. Might that be the fault of not reading what IS SURE TO BE HIDDEN in a thousand pages?
The FIRST Universal health care program we need is mandatory and immediate psychiatric care for ALL of Congress!
