The alt is to buy new valve covers and start over, I am not going to do Roup Goldberg job...

I tried that several years ago before going dry sump and it dumped
oil out the breathers under hard acceleration. The breathers and the valve covers were both well baffled and it still dumped
oil. I finally moved the breathers to the front and plumbed them with a right angle to clear the hood then ran them to another right angle (on both sides) at the back of the engine and then into a "T" with a single breather that was just below hood height. This worked, no more oil being dumped out under hard acceleration and or cornering. The down side, not pretty to the car show crowd, but I am into function first. I guess this would qualify as a Rube Goldberg job though.
