Scottj / jmarsey - thanks. I ask, becuase I do not just want to repeat what others do "because they do it". I really want to "know" and understand why it is I am doing it and what the cons are. It is tough getting answers from people who know.

If you are road racing, probably 2000 miles of yours are equal to 8000 of mine (or more) and that is good enough for me.
