Sect. 1233, Pg 425, Lines 17-19—Government will instruct and consult regarding living wills and durable powers of attorney. Mandatory!
• Sect. 1233, Pg 427, Lines 15-24—Government mandates program for orders for life-sustaining treatment (i.e. end of life). The Government has a say in how your life ends.
• Sect. 1233, Pg 429, Lines 10-12 “Advanced Care Consultation” may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOVERNMENT!

Have you actually read the text? It is online. I'm no attorney, nor am I health care professional, but I can read.
There is nothing "mandatory" or "an ORDER from GOVERNMENT" in it at all.
This section simply amends existing coverage to allow ADDITIONAL payment for consultations on the subject every 5 years...which have not been covered for reimbursement before. It pays for that consult between you and your physician. ...that's all. No more, no less.
Who did this commenting that you cross posted? We'll probably never know since the text you posted is all over the blogs.
Listen, I have no strong feeling one way or the other on this reform... the system needs fixing, so any forward progress is good. And right now, it's a work in progress.
However, being a pawn of the extremists and propagating flat out falsehoods for partisan reasons just feels pretty slimy to me.

Is pasting now not within site guidelines? Why the snide comment if it isn't? It's simple list of section of the pending bill, will done and true.

As shown above, not well done and true. And, yes, consistent cut and pasting from other sites is spam....and that is not within site guidelines. This is a discussion forum provided for the pleasure and enjoyment of club members. Continued one-dimensional posting in news-feed fashion is not a discussion.

Please stop following me around, it's like being followed by a liberal cop, if there is such a thing.

Sorry, but I have to. Too many threads here go to redline too fast lately. People get along a lot better when they are talking about cars.
