[OCCOBRA]

This happens way too often. My father, brother and I were T-Boned by an LA PD Squad car. The officers tried to say they were on a light only call (forgot the code) and that we failed to stop prior to the intersection and give them the right of way. This was at 1PM in the morning and we had people get ahold of us and tell us two squad cars were a block away from that intersection reving engines and egging each other on to drag race.
We went to court and won but in those days all we could get back was damages to car.,
The officer who hit us was only supended for a year and was allowed to return to duty.
A couple of years later my brother now of driving age was stopped for speeding. Guess who stopped him? Yep, it was that same officer now on duty. He told my brother he didn't want to have anything to do with our family and let him go!
