I did not have trouble with the Police.
I was stopped once and given a breath test. The Policeman stood there and spoke with me for a few minutes about the Cobra.
As I drove off, I noticed as he stepped back that he now had a large brown burn mark on his blue trousers..

I bet that wasn't an exhaust burn either.
The poor officer was so excited that he had built up a huge amount of enthusiasm and had to let it out somewhere, similar to the V8 Supercars burning off their excess fuel under de-acceleratioin.
