I think you are pretty much right on the spot for the springs if you are running a small block. If you are running an FE then you might want to go up to a 450-550# springs. The larger number would be if you are racing and that is just a guess because you would really need to have the weight at all four corners to determine the correct spring rates if you just wanted to go neutral.
