Not familar with USAA, but something just doesn't sound right with this whole deal..........I would certainly call the insurance commisioner/commision and check into this.........

Already done David. they are investigating. I also have made several more badgering calls to USAA and I am making SOME headway. I actually got a civil agent whom was willing to help, they passed me on to an underwriter that was also willing to help. After telling him my story, he advised that I need to call the special investigator that handled hte case and ask them to file an error report. If I can get her to do that, USAA will reinstate my current policy. THEN, I will really start looking into switching! Right now Allstate is saying they can't write a policy with liability. The best they can write is a PA Fair Plan which is similar to a fire policy and would cost $1300!!! She said that was based on the single claim I have which was $3636 for vinyl siding one one side of my house. Heaven forbid you have a total loss!!!!! You wouldn't be able to get insurance PERIOD!!!
